In a world overflowing with data, presentations, and information overload, it’s easy to assume that the best way to convince someone of something is with facts, figures, and well-polished PowerPoint slides. And as Maya Angelou famously said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

The secret to making your point stick isn’t in the dazzling graphs or the sophisticated analysis, but in the power of a well-told story. Stories have a way of cutting through the noise and connecting with people on an emotional level. They make us feel something, and because of that, they’re remembered long after the numbers and slides fade from memory.
